Guess What? I’m half-Colombian; thanks, mama! ❤️
I have a deep love for this beautiful country, and I can assure you that Colombia is truly one of the most incredible destinations in the world.
With its warm and friendly people, rich culture, and stunning natural landscapes, Colombia offers an experience unlike any other. I’ve been to Colombia twice; the first time, I spent over 2 months in the country, while, more recently, Jack and I were there for 5 weeks; we’re planning another trip in the future. I’d love to take my mum!
We’ve visited a ton of places, including the three big cities: Bogota, Medellin and Cali. I’ve been to the coffee region, namely Salento and walked to the iconic wax palms in the Valle de Cocora. I’ve visited national park after national park, my favourite being El Cocuy, and hitchhiked along the Caribbean coast. We’ve been rafting in San Gil, diving in Taganga, dancing in Cartagena and visiting beautiful small towns in the middle of nowhere.
Most of this was before I started the blog, so I haven’t written about it, but from our most recent trip, I’ll be sharing travel guides and itineraries to help you plan an epic trip!
Colombia is truly a unique country and a fantastic holiday destination. I know for sure you’re going to love it.
